O face adorned with a thousand, thousand graces, I would wish, night and day, both when winter kills the violets, and when the sun turns them back to life, to remain in those arms from which, upon leaving, I am destroyed and undone; Thus from you, my dear, virtuous, sweet and beautiful, all joy comes to me. |
