Original ItalianTranslation
Cantate, Ninfe leggiadrette e belle,
i miei novelli ardori
e scherzate e ridete insieme Amori
con la mia Filli in queste parti e in quello;
cantate e di piacer gioite tutti,
ch'ho d'Amor colto i desiati frutti.
Sing, O graceful and lovely nymphs,
of my newfound joys,
and, O Cupids, frolic and laugh together
from here to there with my Phyllis;
Sing and rejoice in pleasure, everyone,
for I have plucked Love's longed-for fruits.
