Thus she, of whose honors I sing comes, and coming forth makes the heavens sparkle with pure and noble splendors; to Venus and the cupids she restores strength and amorous affection. Then every dark veil is lifted from about the soul, and at her appearance hyacinths, lilies and roses bloom anew. |
