Original ItalianTranslation
Rose bianche e vermiglie
chi vuol veder coralli, perle ed oro
e dal superno choro,
due stelle scese, e mille meraviglie,
fra lor formar un viso
cha la terra perar fa 'l paradiso,
tant' ivi รจ leggiadria
miri sol Lidia mia.
White and vermillion roses,
whoever wishes to see corals, pearls and gold,
and two stars descended
from the supernal choir, and a thousand marvels
that between them form a face
that makes the earth seem like paradise,
so much grace resides there,
let him but only gaze upon my Lydia.
