My Lady has come to me in my languishing with sweet, humane countenance, happy and lovely in my sleep to console me; and I, boldly venturing to tell her how many afflications I've spent in vain, witnessed her with pity call me to her saying: why do you sigh, why do torment yourself and burn from afar? Do you not know that these arms [weapons] that struck the wound can end your suffering? |
