I would be happy, if [upon] the eyes, for which I always burn, I could gaze as much as I wish. O beautiful eyes of love, from whence I saw the dart launch that cruelly pierced my heart: the wound is mortal, yet my harsh and wicked fate does not still my desire to gaze upon you, cause of all my pains. |
