False Love, true deception, alas, you mortally wounded me, yet you ease my suffering, lovely and courteous Procris. You loosen, o crafty witch, a thousand unbreakable knots with a thousand of your caresses, with a thousand kisses: for I still love that wild beast that tears my breast as much as I will love the one who is happy to heal me. |
