Parmi allor di mirare, tra le vermiglie rose e bianchi fiori, giocar saltando un candido Armelino. Ma mentre i dolci vezzi godi e taci, felice te se conoscessi i baci! |
O graceful little Clorino, sometimes you frolic on her lovely white bosom and draw near the noble and serene face of this new Clori who has no equal in the world. It seems to me then to watch, amidst crimson roses and white flowers, a white Ermine playfully leaping about. But while you enjoy, silently, those sweet dalliances, how fortunate you if you knew her kisses. |
