My Lady, if I loved you, it was with the thought to never leave you, and for my great devotion I had hoped for a worthy recompense from you; But since your heart has changed out mine for another love, I am truly content, for your desires and your faith are born not of flame, instead from a fleeting breeze; Infinite misery [comes] to whoever believes in you. |
